Bid2Meet (bid2meet.me) is a platform where verified experts ("hosts") publish meeting slots and registered users ("bidders") compete for them with bids. Bidding closes at a fixed moment; the host then chooses the winner among the bids received and MAY accept a lower bid - the highest bid does not win automatically. Where a slot instead awards automatically to the highest bid, that is stated on the slot page. Either way the rule is visible before you bid.
The platform is operated by Structor Group LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Registered address: 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Contact: [email protected].
The platform connects the host and the bidder and runs the bidding process. The meeting itself and its content are a matter between the host and the winning bidder. When a slot is payable online, the platform processes the payment and holds it until the meeting takes place (see "Payments and commission" and "Buyer protection and disputes"); otherwise the financial arrangement is directly between the host and the winner, off the platform. The platform does not guarantee the content or outcome of the meeting itself.
Registration requires accurate details (name, phone, email). A bid is a serious statement of intent: a winning bid obliges you to contact the host so the slot can take place. Repeatedly walking away from winning bids may lead to the account being closed.
Only a host whose identity the platform has verified beforehand may publish a slot. The host is obliged to hold the slot won at auction, or to notify the winner of a cancellation in good time.
Publishing a slot is free. When a slot is payable online, the winner pays the platform by card (via Stripe); the platform keeps a commission (currently 20% of the amount) and owes the rest to the host. The exact amount and commission are shown before payment. For slots not paid online, the financial arrangement is directly between the host and the winner, off the platform.
Payment for an online slot is held and not paid to the host immediately, but only after the meeting takes place and the protection window closes. If the host does not show up or the meeting is not as agreed, the buyer reports a problem within that window. A report opens a dispute: the host payout is held and the platform decides - in the buyer's favor (refund) or the host's (payout released). Obvious system errors (e.g. a double charge) are refunded automatically.
A host is paid only after (1) verifying their identity and (2) the buyer protection window passing without an open dispute. Payouts are tracked in the platform's records; the method and timing are communicated to the host.
A host may cancel a slot before it takes place; bidders are notified. If a host does not show up for the agreed slot, the bidder reports it to the platform and that host may lose their status.
The platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for the content or outcome of meetings, nor for damage arising from an arrangement between a host and a bidder. We reserve the right to amend these terms; the version in force is always published on this page.
